On Jul 29, 2022,ASEAN Plus Three Forum on Industrial Chain and Supply Chain Cooperation · Taihu East Asian Entrepreneurs Forum was held in Suzhou, Jiangsu. It was hosted by Mnistry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China and Jiangsu Provincial People's Government. Chambers of commerce from 13 countries proposed initiatives for strengthening industrial chain and supply chain cooperation to cope with the existing global economic development risks.

        Many attendees of the forum acknowledged the importance of strengthening industrial and supply chain as coping with the global economic development risks in a complicated international situation, as well as promoting the implementation of RCEP to bring opportunities to regional economic growth.
        Trade and investment promotion institutes, chambers of commerce and industry associations from 13 attendee countries proposed jointly: cooperation on industrial and supply chain should be strengthened, and all APT countries should work together to facilitate and liberalize trade and investment, encourage enterprises to make a good use of the rules of free trade agreement including RCEP; enhance the exchange of information to advance an efficient allocation of international logistics; extend the cooperation in the field of green economy; and boost the development of digital economy.
        2022 is the 25th founding anniversary of the 10+3 cooperation. In the past 25 years, APT countries have been deepening communications on the interest of each member, and eventually formed an inseparable industrial chain and supply chain structure through cooperation. China has become the biggest trade partner of Japan, ROK and ASEAN as ASEAN also the biggest trade partner of China.
